"The seafood selection was very good, especially the white cod roe dip, which paired incredibly well with the pita bread. The Wood fired Sugarloaf Cabbage was smoky and juicy, and paired well with the Fried Whitebait which was crispy and light. The Lobster at 200 AUD market price was delicious, but can be skipped if you dont particularly love lobster. The desserts were all lovely. The Galaktobureko was the best, warm and complements the mango. The Baklava and Raspberry Tart is recommended for larger crowds. The dining experience was a bit inconvenient given that there were many guests and speaking and hearing each other was difficult. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place if you have a high budget and lots of people so that a large variety of plates can be experienced."

"First time at Ammos but will not be my last. The service, the venue, THE FOOD!!! I had my baby shower there and from the get go they were accommodating to my guests dietary requirements all the way till the day before having to amend my booking for the millionth time. They offered for me to take home left overs I didn't even have to ask.. now a lot of parents will know toddlers are picky with roasted meat! My toddler gobbled up the lamb and my husband said it was the best lamb he ever had! We opted for the $99 menu as we were over 8 people! A from the start when the food came out! It was perfect! The food was delicious! Compliments to the chefs again.. couldn't fault one dish even when they catered to my pescatarian guest her food was exceptional. Can't wait to come back :)"

"I cannot fault Ammos Brighton. Have been there both for dinner and recently hosted my Grandson's Baptism reception luncheon there for 40+ guests. Beautiful food, wines, views and decor. Highly recommend. Service was spectacular. Nothing was too much trouble. Guests were raving. Special shout out to our waitress, Vita. You made our event extra special with your sunny competent service. Can't wait to go back."

"This was our second time dining at Ammos and it has quickly become our local favourite. We’ll definitely be back again. A special mention to Emma, the host, who truly goes above and beyond. She is incredibly friendly, kind, caring, generous and is an absolute asset to Ammos. They’re very lucky to have her. The food is exceptional! Fresh, high‑quality Greek dishes that feel both authentic and elevated. Coming from a Greek background, we can honestly say the flavours are outstanding. The lamb is our top pick! Perfectly cooked, tender and a must‑order. The seafood kritharaki is another standout, especially if you love fresh, beautifully prepared seafood. The venue itself is stunning and instantly transports you to a holiday by the Mediterranean. A gorgeous space, delicious food and wonderful service. Bravo"

"The service was warm and prompt, and the food was prepared very quickly. The atmosphere overall was wonderful. Although the traditional Greek options were a bit limited and the menu leans more toward fine dining, the quality of the food was absolutely impeccable."

"Had our anniversary at Ammos. The good. Great atmosphere and location with great views. Service was ok. Lamb shank boureki was excellent. Tha bad. Can very noisy. Very pricey especially the wines. Big portion of white bait but overcooked. I suggested to one of the male floor manages that the main meal of Moussaka was not anything like a Moussaka and the word Moussaka should not be written on the menu. All it was just two small portions of eggplant with 3 scallops and a lot of what was supposedly Taramasatta but tasted like a mayonnaise. The floor managers response was abruptly to blame the waitress for not telling us that it was not a true Moussaka. We left disappointed."

"Food was delicious and fresh. Always feel welcomed when I come here. Parking is a bit difficult especially during summer (everyone is at the beach) but worth it"

"What a beautiful restaurant. From the moment you enter, it feels like you were being transported to Greece. We are celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary today and they gave us a table by the window overlooking the water which we really appreciated. The staff welcome us with smile and they are very polite. Food was so good. I never went to Greek Restaurant before and I honestly blown away. We had Spanakopita, Lamb Shank, Moussaka & Fries to share. I love everything but if I have to choose the Moussaka is my favourite. We also had the Raspberry Tart as dessert and it was divine & refreshing. Highly recommended."
